This journey is designed for families and individuals to experience a creative immersion into the life and legacy of the world’s most famous children’s author-illustrator. On this fantastical tour, you will walk through Beatrix Potter’s plein art locations: vibrant forests, lush gardens, and quintessential villages. Absorb the beauty that inspired 23 tales about Peter Rabbit and his friends, as well as Beatrix’s original scientific drawings and water-colored illustrations. Experience Beatrix’s life as an illustrator, author, farmer, and environmentalist; participate in the activities she loved and wrote about. This curated journey will unveil the artist inside of you (and your children) and establish an easel for creating your own memories together.
