LA BELLE ROUTE'S literary immersion trip into the Regency period of England (early 1800s), focusing on the life and legacy of Jane Austen, one of England’s first female novelists. During this era, architecture, fashion, industrialization, and Romanticism changed England’s culture and impacted the world. Jane Austen’s wit, satire, and honest cultural commentary gave women courage, independence, and creative aspirations. In the 200 years since her death, Jane’s six novels have sold over 30 million copies worldwide and been adapted into numerous popular movies, filmed on location throughout England.

The annual Jane Austen Festival in Bath takes place September 11–29, 2026, and this itinerary includes participation in the Festival Promenade.

Valid Passport and ETA Required for Travel to England:

Passport Validity: Must be valid for the full duration of your stay in the United Kingdom. Blank Pages: At least one blank page recommended for entry stamps.
